Paint My Posts

OK, so I'm getting more and more dangerous with the computer painting (though still not any better). I've got to pick out a color scheme for the posts, as hopefully in the next few weekends, if all goes well, I should be able to start painting.

Starting with a shopped-up photo from before (no, I haven't finished painting the front or putting up the shingles yet... and by the way, the balusters are only computer added as well - hey, it makes it seem a little more like the final product!) Here are my proposals for the post colors... starting with the most basic

All Cream:

Green & Gold:

Green & Pink:

Green, Pink, & Gold!

And just to see it all...

What do you think? If I've done this right, there should be a poll on the right hand side...

WOW!!! Nice house!

I really like what your doing with the porch.

Not sure what color I would chose for it though......

I know it's not easy, but I think it would be nice to see a whole house view of the different color schemes (along with the close ups) before I can make my color choice. THat way I can see how it all goes together. I think the green & gold could be nice (an accent as well as being different from all the pink), but I'm not sure how it coordinates with the pink on the rest of the house.

Green and pink and gold, most definitely. I would do the cream a couple shades darker, too.

wow - I just discovered this blog through your facebook post. What an interesting project. I'm catching up on your posts and I can't believe the amount of work you've put in. Good luck! It looks beautiful.

Wow it looks great! I'm so jealous of how far ahead of us you are... we still don't even have a porch. We only just today got our footings holes inspected by the city. :-(

And I voted green and pink, but maybe gold would be good too. (It's hard for me to see the gold in the pics so I can quite tell how it works.)
