
That's right! Those weird looking things all over my rose of sharon trees last weekend were harmless lady bug larvae. Good thing we didn't pull out the insecticide - I want lady bugs around to eat any aphids we might have. Plus - how can you kill a lady bug??

I never would have guessed that the icky looking bugs in the last post were ladybugs in training! Neato!
Thank goodness for ladybugs! I have them in my garden and am thankful for them every time I see one! Plus, they're an awfully pretty colour....
